The design studio is a close-knit team of creatives with expertise in shoe design, material development, styling and innovation. We collaborate closely with ECCO’s product teams to develop the best design-solutions for each of our consumer’s many wearing-moments across each of the brand’s global markets.

We believe in the essential principles of Danish Design; Inspired by Nature, Versatile/Modern Utility and Truth to Materials. We believe unreservedly that Form Follows Foot.

The energy in the studio is at an all-time high. With the launch of a series of innovative footwear concepts carrying forward ECCO’s enviable design legacy, it is our aim to secure the brand’s position as the world best modern shoemaker.

Fully integrated design and development including cutting edge Fluidform® DiP comfort engineering and innovative leather development in our own tanneries creates a unique creative resource which has been led by in-house teams in Denmark since 1963.

We are located in Toender, along Denmark’s remarkable coast at Scandinavia’s southernmost gateway.
