We have collected some questions and answers that you might find helpful in your application process.

  • How do I make my application stand out?

If you tell us how you can use your previous experience in the role that you're applying for, you're well on the way. Your previous experience is unique to you, so elaborating on how you see yourself being able to solve the tasks and making ECCO better is what can make you stand out.
  • Can I apply in my native language?

As we are a global company, English is our corporate language and the way for us to communicate. With this in mind, you’ll need to have a good grasp of English to work here. However, some job ads are written in another language than English and if that's the case, you’re welcome to apply in that specific language.
  • I have applied! When will I hear back from you?

Obviously you are excited to hear back once you’ve sent your application. We do our best to get back to you as soon as possible within 1-2 weeks after the application deadline. For some popular roles and where we may be recruiting across multiple roles in one functional area, this may take a bit longer.
  • Can I send an unsolicited application?

Unfortunately, we do not accept unsolicited applications. The best way for you to be considered for a job at ECCO is by applying for a specific job opening.
  • I am invited for an interview. What can I expect?

Congratulations! You made it to the interview. The process may vary depending on the job, unit and country - but it usually goes something like this: First, you’ll will meet one of our recruiters and the hiring manager for a chat about you, us, the role, and your background. This can either be in person or virtually. If you have completed any assessments test prior to the meeting – we’ll give you feedback and discuss those in this meeting.

If all goes well, we’ll invite you for a second meeting. Here, we’ll align expectations and discuss any new questions or considerations you may have regarding the job. In some cases, we may ask you to prepare a small assignment. This second meeting will most likely be on site for us to meet in person and for you to see our location.
  • I have had my final interview. When will I hear back from you?

We'll do our best to get back to you within a few days but, in some cases, it may take a bit longer. Feel free to follow up with the recruiter after the interview.
