About the role
The Data Business Analyst is a data-centric role responsible for gathering insights and interpreting them through analytical methodology, using modern business intelligence tools and compelling data storytelling. This position transforms raw operational data into strategic narratives that inform performance reviews, process controls, and service quality improvements — leveraging analytics platforms to uncover patterns, predict outcomes, and deliver actionable insights to cross-functional stakeholders. This position reports directly to an expatriate manager.
- Advanced Analytics & Performance Monitoring — Prepare dynamic, up-to-date datasets for performance reviews; deliver diagnostic (why it happened) and predictive (what's likely to happen) analysis; identify leading indicators and early warning signals to flag operational risks before they materialize.
- Root Cause & Trend Analysis — Translate complex data findings into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences; design interactive dashboards and visual stories highlighting performance against targets and exposing root causes of variances; deliver standard cost performance analysis and document trends, correlations, and outliers to inform improvement initiatives.
- Process Compliance & Cost Governance — Maintain a clear understanding of existing procedures and frameworks; enforce governance; manage approval and distribution processes to safeguard financial and operational integrity across department activities.
- Master Data & Structural Integrity — Develop and maintain detailed process mappings; collect, govern, and maintain master data related to products and processes; ensure compliance with data governance protocols; conduct regular audits and validation checks to continuously improve data quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in economics, Management, or an IT-related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and training
- English Proficiency, Presentation Skills, Report Writing Skills, Business Process Analysis, Negotiation Skills
