Technical Web Analyst and Tag Manager

Armed with intense knowledge about SEM, including tools like Google Analytics 360 and Tag Manager 360, you’re ready to create guidelines for development, audit implementations, and give our clients insights into their current performance. You’re not afraid to get down to the nitty-gritty of creating dashboards as well as setting the right KPIs to generate useful information that will empower the client to make the right decisions. The role

Tag Management

  • Define the test strategy and measurement plan -- including success metrics and hypothesis
  • Execute analytics tags in collaboration with technical partners to ensure code stability and alignment with SCRUM team priorities
  • Review and test to ensure code quality
  • Maintain high quality documentation of all tags and usage to ensure governance

Web Analysis

  • Develop guidelines for development, audit implementations, and report market level insights on current performance
  • Google Analytics - set up and manage custom reports with a focus on our website and customer behaviour, product assortment, and marketing analytics
  • Provide reporting and insights & actional recommendations to improve KPIs
  • Execute optimization tests and detail analysis with clear insights for improvements and next steps
  • Support execs and team members with requests for data and analysis related to performance or consumer behaviour
  • Identify anomalies in KPIs and collaborate with product team members to determine root cause
  • Share insights with Digital team members and markets

Must haves

  • 3+ years web analytics experience using Google Analytics 360 and Google Tag Manager 360 (or similar).
  • Proven analytical and quantitative skills and ability to use hard data and metrics to back up assumptions and develop business cases.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to understand business/technical requirements for analysis purposes.
  • Strong ability to interpret data and make actionable business recommendations.
  • A curious nature with a desire to understand and master new internet marketing techniques and e-commerce strategies.
  • Strong analytics and reporting skills including business intelligence, data visualization and dashboarding.
  • Experienced in performing Optimization Testing (i.e. AB and multi-variate testing)
  • Experience in setting up multi-channel dashboards that combine web analytics with other sources like CRM, Social, and Marketing Automation data.
  • Experience with other industry standard tools like Adobe Analytics, Tableau, Google Cloud, and Firebase is a plus.
  • Basic JavaScript development skills and a good understanding of web technology in general is a plus
  • Passion for the internet, e-commerce and search engine trends
  • Ability to write, read and speak English at a high level
  • Ability to communicate complex ideas in an easy to understand manner for non-data people J
