ECCO’s Consumer & Market Intelligence team is looking for a motivated and analytical student analyst to join the company's efforts to drive growth through a data-driven and consumer-centric mindset. Based in our Copenhagen office, you will work with stakeholders across departments and regions, providing valuable market, industry, competitor and consumer insights.
You will have the chance to utilize and develop your quantitative and qualitative analytical skillset, improve your data storytelling abilities and build on your business acumen in a global context. You will be an integral part of key business process by supporting decision-makers with crucial insights and recommendations in a timely manner, making sure that the organization is continuously up to date on the market, industry, competitor and consumer landscape. Furthermore, you will included in ad-hoc projects in collaboration with different functional areas throughout the ECCO Group.
Tasks & Responsibilities
Your primary tasks will include:
- Assist with data collection, cleaning and analyses of market, industry, competitor and consumer trends.
- Create reports and presentations to communicate findings to a broad variety of stakeholders throughout ECCO’s global footprint.
- Support the team on various ad-hoc projects and administrative tasks.
- Being an integral part in overseeing and utilizing external data providers.
- Being involved in building business cases in a cross-functional setting.
The role is part-time, and the expected workload is 15-20 hours per week with flexibility around your studies and exam periods, and willingness to travel if necessary.
Profile
The ideal candidate for the position can say yes to the following:
- Enrolled in a relevant bachelor’s/master’s degree (Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Marketing, etc.), preferably having just embarked on your master’s or being at least on the 3rd semester of your bachelor’s.
- A strong business acumen and analytical approach to problem-solving.
- High degree of proactiveness and confidence.
- Attention to detail and curiosity to challenge status quo.
- Proficient in English (both written & verbal). Additional language skills are an advantage but not required.
- Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Prior experience with data visualization software (Power BI) and SQL (Snowflake) is an advantage but not required.
- Willingness to take responsibility for projects and deliverables.
