Finance Specialist PART TIME

To strengthen our Team for our Southern European Region, we are looking for an eager and enthusiastic PART TIME Finance Specialist in a fashion growing reality in Milan.

The Finance Specialist ensure the coordination  and maintenance of VAT application, the control of vendor invoices, the GL allocation through company ERP (SAP), the setting up and creation of invoices and related issues according the local country tax application in regards of special projects working closely with Sales and IT, the support in facility coordination, the checking and follow up of agencies commission.

It is responsible for maintaining regular, pro-active contact with the involved stakeholder (internal and external) in order to keep them update and follow up on all relevant projects, data and action  affecting them and works with various department:  Sales, B&M, Customer service, Administration and closely to IT to ensure the application and set up of related local fiscal requirements.

The key responsibilities of the Finance Specialist are:

  • Ensure VAT control and invoices are correctly booked
  • Ensure related communication with internal deputy departments and external consultant and entities
  • Ensure the agents monthly commission check and related communication with all involved stakeholders
  • Ensure the development and coordination of projects related to invoicing with the involved departments
  • Ensure the payable invoices checking and follow up
  • Ensure the issuing of consignment invoices, maintained and related communication with internal deputy departments and external consultant and entities
  • Coordinate thecommunications from region South to internal finance dept to smooth process and guarantee the communication of relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Ensure the applications of VAT and fiscal requirements in special projects as consignment
  • Ensure preparation of expense note and inputting
  • Ensure communication of relevant information in a timely manner.
  • Maintain daily contact with finance, administration, Sales Responsible, Team Leader, Finance and Master Data functions.

Education

  • Degree in Finance / accounting or equivalent working experience

    Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of working experience
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with Microsoft Excel
  • Expertise in taxes accounting area and statutory financial statements

     

    Languages:

  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Additional language skills specific to the substructure/market (native/or near-native), written and spoken

  • Strong communication skills
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Comfortable working in dynamic and constantly changing environment, change management skills
  • Strong analytical skills (excellent with Microsoft)
  • Team player
  • Ability to influence and communicate in the efficient manner
  • Ability to work with multinational and diverse teams as well as senior management of the company
  • Tolerant, open, thick skinned, resourceful and self-starter
