What the Marketing assistant does?
The Marketing Assistant will assist Marketing Coordinator SOUTH that is responsible for the implementation of the marketing activities in the ‘South markets’ (including Italy, Spain, France, Portugal, Belgium and Greece) in line with the global marketing strategy and the South local business plans & budgets.
Internship in Marketing will give to you the opportunity to learn:
- To provide marketing services to our key accounts, franchise partners and multi-brand partners within the South markets.
- To manage and increase and focalize PR support and on- and offline retail marketing activities.
- To be involved in adapting and implementing marketing campaigns for the individual markets from concept development to planning, execution & reporting.
- To coordinate events, PR activities and tailored marketing packages for customers and consumers alike.
- To support the translation of the global marketing strategy into local marketing plans, and to define the local business objective in liaison with the market responsible
The aim is to deliver the best brand experience to customers and consumers with a focus on driving traffic to our stores and partners , increasing conversion and brand awareness.
The key responsibilities of the Marketing Assistant are:
- Support the Marketing Coordinator in set-up/conduct seasonal agency briefings
- Support the Marketing Coordinator in creating a local media plan
- Support the Marketing Coordinator in developing activity calendar on a yearly basis
- Assist and participate in meetings with local media, PR & event agencies
- Support the execution of commercial activity in retail and wholesale
- Support in creating sales stimulation activities in the markets every season together with the sales teams
- Secure all ECCO and multi-brand stores receive the POS materials (posters, leaflets, brochures etc.) according to the seasonal guidelines, as well as tailor-made POS packages that supports the execution of the marketing plans
- Monitor and manage window/POS display quality and compliance with VM guidelines in order to ensure a premium brand look experience at point of sale
- Support the production of creative materials for the seasonal marketing campaigns in collaboration with South team & local creative agencies
- Support Marketing Coordinator South for consumer loyalty program
- Support in preparing the weekly consumer newsletters
- Support to build, present & discuss results of previous campaigns & future marketing plans with the South sales teams at sales kick-offs
- Support and attend sales kick-offs, marketing conferences and any relevant local events, trade fairs, etc.
- Work closely with other Department like Sales and Merchandising.
Skills
- Proficiency in Office Suite (Excel and Power Point mandatory)
- Knowledge of design tool (photoshop, InDesign etc)
- Visual Merchandising skills
- Strong analytical /data interpretation skills
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Sound understanding of marketing principles & concepts
- Communication skills, Copywriting skills and Creativity
