Senior Project Manager

Ready to play a key role in a global SAP rollout as part of a new team? And do you want to help teams across the globe embrace change and succeed in a new global way of working?

Join a small team that you will help establish – this role offers a unique opportunity to lead with purpose, tackle complexity, and deliver measurable results.

Why is this a great opportunity? Because you’ll be part of a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation, where you’ll build everything from scratch – and influence our future” says Gerald Dehn-Jensen, Senior Program Director.

Not just project management – but transformation with a purpose
With SAP phasing out its legacy ECC system, we must be ready to transition to SAP S/4HANA – an upgrade that will streamline processes, provide real-time insights, and prepare us for future growth.

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented SAP project manager with S/4HANA Cutover Manager experience to lead and orchestrate the planning, coordination, and execution of our SAP S/4HANA program’s critical go-live activities. This is a strategic and hands-on leadership role, requiring someone who can manage large-scale project deliverables while ensuring a seamless cutover to the new system.

You will be at the heart of our new Program Office, which will be tasked with deploying SAP S/4HANA globally – a program that will currently run until at least 2029. The team within the Program Office is still being shaped, and we expect it to consist up of 10 dedicated colleagues within next 12 months, giving you a great opportunity to join at the very start and help form it.

Reporting to the PMO Lead, you will be aligning teams, overcoming challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

This unique dual-role requires a leader who can manage complex project governance, coordinate multiple stakeholders across business and IT, to ensure employees at all levels are supported through the change. More specifically, you will:

  • Build and manage project scope, timelines, budget, and resources while mitigating risks and resolving challenges proactively
  • Define, develop, and lead the detailed cutover strategy and plan.
  • Lead the production cutover event, managing all activities, communications, and escalation paths to ensure smooth program delivery
  • Act as a central point of coordination, keeping stakeholders engaged and informed throughout the program lifecycle
  • Maintain and contribute to high-level program roadmaps to ensure visibility and transparency
  • Work closely with system integrators and key vendors to optimise performance and ensure seamless collaboration

This role can be based either in Bredebro or Copenhagen – though we expect you to be able to be in Bredebro very regularly. You will have some international travel, approximately 6 weeks per year.

Solid SAP experience and great stakeholder management skills
With your outgoing nature, great communication skills, and comfort being in the spotlight, you have the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. You have a structured mindset and the ability to take initiative, you know how to combine strategy with practical execution.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex cutover events in SAP landscapes and driving cross-functional teams to ensure a smooth transition with minimal business disruption. You might come from the industry or from a supplier of consultancy services and we imagine that you bring:

  • Extensive experience as a Project Manager involved in large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations
  • Demonstrated experience leading SAP cutover planning and execution in a global or complex environment
  • A deep understanding of SAP Activate, SAP modules, technical architecture, data migration and other SAP elements (Cloud ALM, etc.)
  • Proven ability to manage complex SAP projects with a proactive and results-driven approach
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • English proficiency – and you are at ease with working in a global, multicultural environment

Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
