(Senior) Financial Administrator EMEA

We are currently looking for a (Senior) Financial Administrator who will be responsible for financial administrative activities related to bank bookings, manual payments and the processing of employee expenses for 16 ECCO entities in different countries.

The (Senior) Financial Administrator is responsible for all administrative activities including collecting and processing bank statements for various banks and ECCO entities into SAP, posting corrections to the bank clearing accounts, checking and processing of direct debits, posting manual payments regarding VAT, commissions and customer refunds, periodic reconciliation of the bank and suspense accounts, liaising with the Credit Controllers in the team regarding relevant matters and processing & handling of employee expenses.
You will be the first line of communication for the two Financial Administrative Assistants in the team and ensure that all daily financial administration tasks are accurately and timely performed together with the team. You’ll also support year end (auditors requests) and other relevant reporting activities.
We are looking for a communicative team player with an accurate and pro-active approach and an eye for details.
Furthermore we ask:
- An undergraduate level/MBO Finance education
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment.
- The ability to independently carry out the job and, within guidelines set by and instructions received from the Team leader Credit Control & Financial Administration, identify, propose and implement process improvements.
- Administration skills and extended experience in SAP is an advantage
- Fluent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
- Advanced Excel skills is an advantage
