REWIRE Change Lead

Ready to play a key role in a global SAP rollout, starting in the US and expanding worldwide? And can you help ECCO teams embrace change and succeed in a new global way of working?

Join us and head a small team that you will help establish – and get the opportunity to develop your leadership skills as the function grows.

Why this is a great opportunity? Because you’ll be part of a greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation, where you’ll build everything from scratch – and influence our future” says Gerald Dehn-Jensen, Senior Program Director.

Not just change management – but transformation with a purpose
As our new Change Lead, you will play a crucial role in enabling our global SAP transformation. With SAP phasing out its legacy ECC system by 2027, we must be ready to transition to SAP S/4HANA – an upgrade that will streamline processes, provide real-time insights, and prepare us for future growth.

As part of our PMO (Program Management Office), you will collaborate across business units – from production, logistics and finance to customer service – to ensure employees at all levels are supported through change. You will also partner with external consultants, leveraging their expertise while driving ECCO’s internal strategy forward.

Our team of change management professionals is not yet fully established, and you will play a key role in shaping it.

More specifically, you will:

  • Maintain and drive a comprehensive change management roadmap for ECCO’s SAP S/4HANA implementation, ensuring alignment across regions and business units
  • Lead the execution of the communication strategy aligned to the overall OCM framework and transformation roadmap
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive communication plan plans in collaboration with ECCO’s communication team to engage employees across all levels and time zones - covering internal newsletters, intranet articles, leadership updates, team briefings, and end-user messaging
  • Act as the primary owner of communication channels related to the RE:WIRE program, including content creation, editorial calendar management, and channel governance
  • Analyze how system changes affect processes and teams, and provide tools and strategies to help business functions transition smoothly
  • Take ownership of assessing the business impact of the new solution, identifying change risks, and implementing targeted actions to mitigate these impacts across affected functions
  • Work closely with business process owners, senior management, and other stakeholders to address concerns, provide updates, and ensure adoption of the changes
  • Manage your team of change management consultants and external consultants, and support their development so they have the right tools to handle the transformation

You can expect some international travel activity (approximately 1 week every 2 months). Beyond that, you will be affiliated with our HQ in Bredebro or satellite Copenhagen office with frequent travels domestically to HQ . Expect flexibility to work remotely up to 40%.

Experience with organizational change management
With your structured mindset and ability to take initiative, you know how to combine strategy with practical execution. You have the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the organization and you are ready to take the next step into a management role, where you will guide and support others.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Bring 3+ years of experience in organizational change management
  • Have experience working in large-scale IT transformations
  • Bring a solid understanding of change management frameworks (e.g., ADKAR) and tools
  • Speak and write English effortlessly and you are comfortable working in a global, multicultural environment
  • Have a business degree within Business, Communication, Organizational Psychology or equivalent

Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will begin interviews on August 18 and aim to have a contract signed by the end of August.
