Product Owner E-commerce content systems (PIM)

This is an excellent opportunity to partner with a recognised and global player within shoe production and sales. The role will allow you to establish lasting relationships within a dynamic, ambitious and global company. You will be a proactive and central player in a strong, multinational office. 

We are searching for skilled owner of product data management solutions, who will manage the Global Product data strategy across our E-Commerce architecture. This role will support our transformation to using automated approach with help of AI solutions and more. - Filipp Labkovskiy, Global E-Commerce Director.

In this position you will be responsible for developing a strategy and defining the vision of the product based on metrics and market research and internal customers. Further to this, you will be accountable for: 

  • Generation and promotion of the most useful and relevant hypotheses; 

  • Developing a strategy for content creation and distribution; architecture of data streaming within organisation and CJM development; 

  • Product backlog and prioritisation management; Formulation of product requirements for development teams (functional and non-functional) and formation of a roadmap for product development; 

  • Collection and analysis of user feedback, organisation of qualitative and quantitative research; 

  • Onboarding of new users, organisation of the implementation process; 

  • Analysis of new development trends and technologies, assessment of competitors in terms of their functional capabilities; 

  • Creation of detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for development teams, ensuring clear understanding of deliverables 

  • Develop and execute a strategic roadmap for E-commerce content systems, focusing on alignment with business goals and establish strategic collaboration and effective business processes with brand marketing and content creation stakeholders to ensure streamline of relevant content; 

  • Collaborate with teams to gather and prioritise business requirements for content systems, guiding development efforts. 

  • Create clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and communicate updates to stakeholders for effective project management. 

  • Work with vendors to integrate and optimise content systems, ensuring seamless functionality. Conduct thorough testing for a flawless customer experience. 

  • Establish data governance policies for accurate product information. Develop training materials and sessions for internal teams. 

  • Deliver a solution for translations automation of text for regional websites of Global Headless architecture; 
     

To be succesfull in this position, we expect you to have:

  • More than 5 years of steering a development team (preferably internal services/platforms)  

  • At least one year of experience as a product in the PIM system and 3+ years of experience as a developer or system analyst is desirable;  

  • Experience in Discovery, CJM development and basic understanding of concepts in UX and UI;  

  • Initiative and desire to develop in an environment of constant change;  

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Proven track record of delivering an architecture of content systems for international retailer within global scope of countries with different languages,managing a scope of content systems and stakeholders for global retail brand and working with multimedia content on a global scale; 

  • Fully proficient in English

  • Must be eligble to work in the Netherlands
