Reporting to the Category Director, you will become part of our Global Category Management team in Tønder, Denmark, working alongside 22 passionate colleagues across categories such as Women’s, Men’s, Kids, Outdoor, and Leather Goods. We are in the midst of exciting strategic and process transformations, so agility and resilience are key. Turn category vision into scalable product platforms
As Product Line Manager, you will own the product system architecture for your category, ensuring ECCO develops technically sound footwear platforms that deliver long-term value.
You will:
- Define and safeguard product family structures, platform roadmaps, and feature hierarchies.
- Create clear product briefs for Design and Global Development & Engineering, translating consumer insights and category direction into technical requirements.
- Drive disciplined development processes, ensuring readiness at every product gate.
- Maintain product DNA across seasons, leveraging platforms and tooling to optimise SKU discipline.
- Feed post-season learnings into future product evolution, continuously improving performance and scalability.
Your role will involve close collaboration with Design, Global Development & Engineering, Supply Chain, and other stakeholders to ensure timely launches and technical feasibility.
You are a system thinker who can see the long-term product architecture beyond individual seasons

deally, you have:
- A bachelor’s degree in product development, engineering, industrial design, or similar.
- 5–10 years of experience in footwear product development, product management, or innovation roles.
- Strong technical literacy across materials, constructions, fit, and performance.
- Proven experience writing product briefs and managing development through PLM systems.
- A structured, detail-oriented mindset with a passion for quality and consumer-driven solutions.
