Senior Master Data Governance Consultant

Are you ready to contribute to shaping our master data management (MDM) and governance practice?

Come be a driving force in our master data management initiative, a pivotal focus for ECCO’s Management Board, and a top priority in our digital transformation agenda.

“We have the support of top management here, so you’ll be stepping into a central role that offers ample learning opportunities and a broad network,” explains Head of Master Data Jesper Wahl Poulsen.

Shape the future of master data management in ECCO

Welcome to our Master Data Management & Governance department, where you will join a seasoned team of MD architects, MD engineers, MD quality analysts and MD supporters. Together, we are dedicated to optimizing our master data management through the strategic definition and implementation of systems for data analysis.

As a key player in our master data governance initiatives, you will drive the development of ECCO’s MDM practice and culture. Your role involves streamlining business and master data processes, establishing data governance forums, and fostering interactive and productive governance meetings with a diverse range of stakeholders.

More specifically, your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Lead and drive the development and implementation of master data governance strategies and policies
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data governance processes and ensure compliance with industry standards
  • Evaluate and enhance data quality frameworks, ensuring the accuracy and consistency of master data
  • Provide expert guidance on master data management best practices and contribute to the overall data governance road map
  • Conduct data quality assessments and establish metrics to monitor and improve data accuracy

You know your way around master data governance

You are a fast learner who can quickly get to know our organisation and who excels at interacting with business professionals. Also, you know how to create buy-in from your stakeholders, a skill that will come in handy as you undertake the tasks of defining our data and establishing a shared understanding of master data definitions.

Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Bring a master’s degree in business administration or similar
  • Have solid experience driving master data governance, preferably as a consultant
  • Have project management experience allowing you to structure and design solutions, allocate tasks, and coordinate efforts effectively
  • Have solid analytical skills and know how to facilitate change in a large-scale organisation
  • Have strong presentation skills
  • Speak and write English effortlessly

Though you will be participating in IT implementation projects, you will not be performing technical tasks, but knowing SAP or D365 would be helpful.

Joining Master Data Management & Governance, you will find that we are an exceptionally well-established team dedicated to advancing the digital agenda at ECCO. Operating within Group IT, we maintain an informal and collaborative atmosphere, cherishing moments of shared laughter.
