Returns Management Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Returns Management Specialist to join our team.

As a Returns Management Specialist, you will be responsible for records, processes and evaluates reports of customer issues pertaining to merchandise to be returned or credited to the customer account, because of defects, shipping errors, damages or post-season returns.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Issue Return of Goods Authorizations to customers and distribution partners as related to damages or overstock of product(s).
  • Make sure that the transport  and claims policies and procedures are being followed.Assist customer’s and carriers as necessary to resolve freight, appointment or other delivery issues;
  • File claims with freight carriers and assure reimbursement from carriers as applicable.
  • Track shipments and provide Proof of Delivery (POD) to customers upon request.
  • Responsible for responding to, and adjudicating, claims from customers relative to shortages and damages in transit.
  • Issue credit memo’s, reship shortages when necessary, and invoice customers for overages relative to customer validated claims.
  • Review aging reports for discrepancies, shipping errors,
  • Work together with Quality Assurance to identify quality problems in the markets
  • Actively collaborate with Supply Chain, Finance, Retail field, Operations and Customer Service to ensure the timely processing of returns
  • Perform any other duties as requested by management
  • Prepare accurate reports for upper management

 

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in a similar role
  • Customer and quality orientated
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently
  • Strong analytical skills with great attention to detail
  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Quality and deadline oriented
  • Proactive approach with strong organisational skills
  • Good communication in English
  • Experience working with consumer complaints
  • Knowledge of basic complaint regulations.
