Program Office Lead

Programme Office Lead for Re:wire, ECCO’s SAP S/4Hana transformation

Do you want to work with hands-on aspects of big transformation projects and help put ideas and visions into action? And are you ready to make an impact on a global company embarking on a fundamental change in the way we operate?

“We are building a new PMO team responsible for Re:wire – and they will have a strong mandate to drive the transformation of our business processes. I see this team as the cornerstone of the programme’s success as they guide and set the standards for all implementation teams” says Transformation & Execution Director Sune Edmund Pedersen.

Be hands-on and close to our stakeholders

Based out of either our HQ in Bredebro, our Tech-hub in Copenhagen, or our office in Warsaw, you will coordinate the activities of the new Re:wire Programme Office team. The team will be leading all programme-level efforts, which includes all classic PMO activities as well as facilitating and supporting the change effort needed to successfully implement a greenfield SAP S/4Hana programme with a time horizon of 5 years.

As our Programme Office Lead, you will report to the Programme Director and be the daily go-to person for the track leads in case they have any questions on how to run their tracks/squads. In addition, you are comfortable being approached by anyone outside the programme who has questions about plans or progress.

You will take the lead in planning all programme-level events and have an eye for details when it comes to planning and monitoring both financial and physical progress in the programme. Together with coaches as well as change management and communication specialists, you are the guarantor for sustainable progress throughout the programme.

Because you are stepping into a new team and a new position, you will have a great deal of impact on how we approach our tasks – but we imagine that you will be:

  • Defining and planning the ways of working for the programme, including setting the standards for all reporting templates
  • Ensuring all programme-level events (kick-off, reviews, steering committee meetings etc. are scheduled and executed professionally
  • Engaging with legal and finance to ensure all contractual aspects are 100% in order
  • Updating and maintaining high-level roadmaps

Because we work with global projects, we expect your role to involve travelling, though this aspect is not completely defined. You will, however, be travelling to Tønder on a regular basis if you are based out of Copenhagen.

PMO experience and excellent communication skills

One of the things that motivates you the most is the possibility to operate hands-on and work closely with the people affected by your efforts. You also have great people skills, enabling you to easily embrace colleagues at all professional levels, whether you are running a senior-level workshop or tracking down information from our vendors.

You will further thrive in a setting where nothing is set in stone, and where you get to work with other experts on change and transformation.

While we are very open to various backgrounds, we do expect that you have worked with larger transformation projects. Besides that, we imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant higher education
  • Have industry standard project management certifications
  • Have knowledge of agile tools and methods
  • Have experience with ERP implementation projects

Join team Re:wire – and guide the programme to be a success

We are aiming to build a small, lean team with highly engaged champions of change and professional program management. As the name Re:wire indicates, we will connect people and data in new ways, and SAP S/4Hana will radically change some areas of the business, while harmonizing processes across ECCO. Our passion is about the destination, the people, and the process itself. We know that change processes are hard, but rewarding; unpredictable, but with the need for planning. And we take pride in inspiring each other and succeeding as a team,” says Sune further.

Are you ready for your next challenge?

We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
