Role purpose:

 

We are looking for Microsoft 365 Specialist – Exchange. In this role , you will  play an important role in ensuring best practices across our Exchange Online and related services. Your responsibilities will include owning the roadmap, driving technical implementation, maintaining thorough documentation, updating processes and procedures, automation, and disaster planning and recovery management.

Join our team as an M365 specialist, where you'll oversee Exchange Online and support Microsoft Entra ID, ensuring the business stays operational. This role is central to Global IT, offering a wide span of colleagues to collaborate with on a global scale.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of Exchange Online, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead the implementation and configuration of Exchange Online services and features, including customization, integration, migration, and automation with Powershell and Graph.
  • Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance processes to ensure the reliability, performance, and security of Microsoft 365 solutions, addressing any issues or risks proactively.
  • Drive technical implementation of Microsoft 365 solutions
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including technical specifications, architectural diagrams, deployment guides, and user manuals, to support solution delivery and knowledge transfer.
  • Implement automation where applicable to streamline tasks and workflows.
  • Update processes and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage Exchange Online and provide support for Microsoft Entra ID to ensure uninterrupted business operations
  • Provide training, mentoring, and support to end-users, administrators, and other stakeholders to enable effective adoption and utilization of Microsoft 365 services and features.

 

Requirements:

  • In-depth knowledge of the Microsoft Office 365 suite, focusing on Exchange Online but able to keep a holistic overview.
  • Ability to understand complex business requirements and translate them into scalable, efficient, and secure Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Technical experience with Exchange Online, Microsoft Entra ID, and Powershell.
  • Experience in owning a high-impact area and awareness of the importance and possible risks associated with it.
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail
  • Quality and deadline oriented.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, including technical teams, business leaders, and end users.
  • Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.
