We are looking for a highly analytical and motivated individual, who would like to become a team player in a dynamic team, as Merchandise Planner.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and managing in-season allocation strategies that align with our product, financial, and inventory goals.
Your strong analytical abilities and understanding of market trends will be key to optimizing product assortments, ensuring we meet customer demand while maximizing sales and profitability. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including Product, Merchandising, and Supply Chain, to track inventory levels, evaluate performance metrics, and deliver actionable insights aimed at improving category results..
What you will do
- Implement, maintain and execute in-season allocation plans in alignment with the initial merchandising strategy and pre-season planning activities.
- Monitor in-season deliveries to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained they arrive according to the plan across channels, flag and communicate potential issues.
- Analyze historical data and market trends to inform planning decisions and identify growth opportunities
- Conduct regular performance analysis and provide actionable insights to improve category performance
- Prepare and present reports on key metrics, including key KPIs such as: sales performance, inventory turnover, and gross margin
- Collaborate with product, merchandising, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on product assortments and promotional strategies.
- Participate in seasonal planning and assortment reviews to ensure a balanced and profitable product mix
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for all merchandising activities.
Must-haves in this role
- Minimum 3 years work experience, ideally in a merchandising or allocation environment
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
- PowerBI skills as an additional asset
- SAP experience as an additional asset
- Very good English – you will work in English on a daily basis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Positive and “can-do” mindset
