Master Data Specialist (O2C)

Join our Global Business Service (GBS) organization in Warsaw and help us build the best in class global Finance function that is technologically sound, future proof and can react quickly to ever-changing demands!

Establishing the GBS is a global project, where all transactional accounting processes are gathered into regional Business Centre’s in Americas, Europe, Asia/Pacific and China.

The European Business Centre has experienced accountants and specialists who will provide bookkeeping and accounting services for more than 30 European ECCO companies.

Responsibilities

  • High-quality maintenance and analysis of master data records in various systems in accordance with ECCO process and data standards, policies and objectives
  • Respond to queries from range of stakeholders using various means of communication
  • Monitor master data quality and actively fix encountered or reported issue
  • Raise concerns about master data quality, data governance and related issues to the Team Leader
  • Provide reports and data analysis
  • Support data cleansing initiatives
  • Coordinate and actively support business processes, projects and requirements inside and outside the team
  • Develop and implement data management processes and standards
  • Provide support and training to users on master data management best practices
  • Assist in the integration of new systems and data migration projects
  • Actively look for process improvement opportunities, participates in testing and implementation of new optimization solutions

 

Requirements:

  • Experience in a Master Data role, with Customer Master Data being an asset
  • Experience in working in an international company or SSC serving multiple countries will be a plus
  • Attention to details and quality
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to run data analysis
  • Firm understanding of data standards and objectives
  • SAP experience
  • Very good communication skills in English (written and spoken)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Experience with data governance and data quality initiatives is a plus
