Role purpose
The Invoice Processing Specialist (Procure to Pay) verifies supplier invoices and credit notes, supports our suppliers and business handles discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Daily booking and control of supplier invoices (domestic and foreign) .
- Verify registered invoices in line with accounting and VAT rules.
- Coordinate invoice approval flow at ECCO in accordance with all applicable policies.
- Perform analysis, matching and reconciliation of accounts payable ledgers and resolve any discrepancies.
- Perform GR/IR balances clearing
- Process and execute payments (for internal and external parties).
- Close the accounting periods in accordance with ECCO group closing calendar, policies and procedures.
- Be a proactive business partner with forward-looking, timely, high-quality, and value-adding financial support
- Cooperate with external vendors and institutions.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience as a Accounts Payables Accountant or Procure to Pay Specialist
- Experience in working in an international company or SSC serving multiple countries
- SAP experience
- Knowledge of VAT regulations
- Understanding of processes Procure to Pay
- Experience with PO process and Coupa will be an asset
- Very good communication in English (written and spoken). Any other European languages preferred
- Advanced in the use of Excel
- Quality and deadline oriented
- Team player with good communication skills
