Role purpose

We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Data Engineer to join our Data Team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, business intelligence, and data engineering, as well as experience working with large and complex datasets.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing data pipelines to support our business intelligence and data analysis needs. This will include working with data from a variety of sources, including transactional databases, web APIs, and flat files. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining datasets, dashboards and reports to help our team make data-driven decisions.

You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining dataset, dashboards and reports to help our team make data-driven decisions.

 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in data analysis, business intelligence, and data engineering
  • Experience working in multinational organizations
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with at least one BI tool (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Familiarity with dbt (data build tool) and experience building data pipelines
  • Experience with DAX and building tabular models in Power BI or similar tools
  • Experience working with data from SAP- Sales and distribution module will be a big plus
  • Experience with programming languages such as Python is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills, including fluent English
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is a plus
