Do you want to help ensure the quality of footwear by turning testing data into reliable results that make a real difference?
Conduct testing that supports quality across our products
At ECCO HQ in Bredebro, you will join our Group Quality team and become part of our Global Development & Engineering organisation. Here, you will work closely with colleagues across Production, Pilot, Technical and technician teams to ensure that footwear, materials and components meet our quality standards.
As our new Laboratory Technician, you will play an important role in the daily laboratory operations. Using a structured and detail-oriented approach, you will manage and organise testing activities from sample preparation through testing and documentation. You will build expertise in ECCO’s testing standards and procedures while being a trusted colleague who delivers stable, high-quality results independently.
Specifically, you will:
- Conduct physical and mechanical testing of footwear, materials, prototypes and components.
- Prepare, identify and process samples according to laboratory procedures and testing standards.
- Operate, maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.
- Record test data, maintain documentation and prepare standardised test reports.
- Support a safe, organised and efficient laboratory environment.
Bring structure, precision and a laboratory mindset
We imagine that you have a laboratory background and enjoy working in an environment where accuracy, consistency and quality are essential. You are comfortable handling repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and take pride in delivering reliable results.
To succeed in this role, you likely have:
- A qualification within laboratory technology, laboratory science, chemistry, materials science or a related field.
- Experience working in a laboratory environment.
- Experience with testing, measurements or other technical laboratory activities.
- A structured approach and the ability to maintain high quality in routine tasks.
If you do not meet every requirement but believe your experience and motivation make you a strong fit, we encourage you to apply.
Join a team dedicated to quality and continuous improvement
You will become part of a skilled and supportive team within Group Quality. The atmosphere is collaborative, down-to-earth and focused on helping one another succeed. Together, we work to ensure that our products live up to the high standards that customers expect from ECCO.
In return, you will have the opportunity to deepen your technical expertise, learn from experienced colleagues and contribute to the quality of products used by people around the world. Please note that this is an onsite position in Bredebro, Denmark, and we are not able to offer relocation support for this position.
