Junior Project Manager

Ready to play a key role in a global SAP rollout as part of a new team? And do you want to help teams across the globe embrace change and succeed in a new global way of working?

Join a small team that you will help establish – this role offers a unique opportunity to learn and shape your own future within project management within SAP S/4 Hana IT and business transformation, at the same time as you will lead with purpose, tackle complexity, and deliver measurable results.

Why is this a great opportunity? Because you’ll be part of a SAP S/4HANA implementation, where you’ll build everything from scratch – and influence our future” says Gerald Dehn-Jensen, Senior Program Director.

Not just project management – but transformation with a purpose
With SAP phasing out its legacy ECC system, we must be ready to transition to SAP S/4HANA – an upgrade that will streamline processes, provide real-time insights, and prepare us for future growth.

As Junior PMO / Project Manager, you will be at the heart of our new Program Office, which will be tasked with deploying SAP S/4HANA globally – a program that will currently run until at least 2029. The team within the Program Office is still being shaped, and we expect it to consist up of 10 dedicated colleagues with various background and skills, giving you a great opportunity to join at the very start, helpform it and your career as project manager.

Reporting to the PMO Lead, you will assist in creating global PMO standards, methodologies, and tools across the program organization, overcoming challenges, and ensuring timely delivery of milestones.

You will gain a wide internal network, where you collaborate across business units – from production, logistics and finance to customer service and other project managers within your team – to ensure employees at all levels are supported through the change. More specifically, you will:

  • Assist in building up the Program office, tools, templates and best practices in project governance, issue resolution, and change management to ensure smooth program delivery
  • Support the planning, execution, and monitoring of global SAP transformation projects, while mitigating risks and resolving challenges proactively
  • Facilitate project workshops, coordinate meetings, track follow-ups, and ensure timely communication across project stakeholders
  • Assist in finical and progress reporting for program leadership to ensure visibility and transparency

This role can be based either in Bredebro or Copenhagen – though we expect you to be able to be in Bredebro regularly. Further, you will have some international travel, approximately 1 week every 2 months.

Project experience and great stakeholder management skills
With your outgoing nature, great communication skills, and comfort being in the spotlight, you have the ability to engage stakeholders across all levels of the organisation. You have a structured mindset, the ability to take initiative, and willingness to learn to become a highly skilled SAP project manager.

You might come from the industry or from a supplier of consultancy services – and you might bring experience within SAP area and project management/PMO and we imagine that you furthermore bring:

  • 1-3 years of project coordination, PMO or project management support
  • Exposure to ERP projects, ideally SAP (S/4HANA, ECC, etc.)
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar
  • English proficiency – and you are at ease with working in a global, multicultural environment

Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.

For additional information, you can reach out to Emelie Gustafsson, Head of PMO on +45 30 93 47 70.
