HR Advisor Netherlands

We are looking for an experienced and motivated HR Advisor that will ensure excellent HR operations, while promoting our company culture and delivering excellent employee experience.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic person who is able to swich quickly between different tasks, set up own priorities and capable to work independently.

What will you do? 

  • Handle day-to-day HR tasks and secure excellent HR operations
  • Be responsible for a recruitment process – mainly for Dutch stores but for Amsterdam office as well
  • Prepare employment contracts and other employment-related documents
  • Provide comprehensive support and advice to managers and employees on a range of HR matters
  • Coordinate and monitor the process regarding sickness and unemployment cases together with our Healthcare Service provider
  • Secure documents’ flow between HR and employees/departments as well as an external service providers and authorities
  • Work closely with our HR & Payroll Officer and support the payroll process in a timely and accurate manner
  • Provide periodic  reporting
  • Update and maintain personnel records in HR systems
  • Conduct initial orientation to newly hired employees; deliver ECCO values, history and culture messages
  • Support in communication related to human resources programs and activities

Your profile

  • You have at least 3 years of relevant working experience in a HR work environment;
  • Previous experience in recruitment
  • Excellent communication skills in both Dutch and English
  • Bachelor’s degree level of working;
  • Familiar with Dutch labour law
  • Experience in an international and/or Retail/Fashion environment is a plus
  • Excellent MS Office skills, especially in Excel
  • Ability to handle tasks with a sense of urgency and confidentiality
  • People- and service oriented, able to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to have a helicopter view and to coordinate the different competences of the HR Administration towards common goals;
  • Dynamic, excellent communication skills and a real team spirit;
  • Dutch working entitlements are required
