As our new Group Financial Controller, you will step into a role that offers international exposure, as you will support group-level audits, analysis, and compliance, while also travelling to subsidiaries to ensure best practices.

Connect audits, systems and people across borders
Based at ECCO’s HQ in Bredebro, you will join a highly skilled team of 7 dedicated colleagues working in Group Financial controlling and reporting. We handle all aspects of group consolidation, financial controlling, and financial compliance audits for ECCO’s global organisation.

In this diverse role, you will plan, execute and follow up on internal audits while being a point of contact for ECCO’s digital audit platform. You will collaborate across departments and geographies to support financial integrity.

You will for example:

• Perform financial controlling for month-end, annual reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Participate in internal financial audits within subsidiaries.
• Conduct deep dive audits/controlling using digital solutions across selected focus areas.
• Monitor compliance.

While many tasks are performed at the Group HQ, you will also travel to subsidiaries (around 25-30 days per year). The role offers flexibility, including the possibility to work from home some days during the week.

Audit experience meets a digital mindset
With your strong analytical abilities and structured work style, you enjoy digging into data and improving processes. Furthermore you have an eye for details, enjoy contributing to a collaborative team environment, and thrive in an international setting where cross-cultural interaction is part of everyday work. We imagine that you:

• Have a few years of experience (or more) in auditing or controlling
• Are fluent in English
• Bring experience with and interest in financial systems and digital tools
• Are comfortable with international collaboration
