Global Training & Development Lead

Are you ready to take on the responsibility of shaping ECCO’s global sales training strategy? And to create impactful training experiences that support professional growth across continents?

Then this is your chance to lead and develop the sales capabilities of ECCO’s front-line sales staff whilst collaborating closely with sales and commercial stakeholders. Along the way, you will lead impactful programs across both retail and wholesale, thereby driving how millions of consumers experience our brand.

Foster a global learning community that drives commercial success
You will join the Global Sales Excellence team, which works across functions and markets to elevate commercial capabilities.

Here, your role will be key in ensuring that our training connect people, product, and performance, as you set the direction and standards for sales training at ECCO – aligning strategy with execution and enabling markets to succeed.

More specifically, you will:

  • design and scale global training programs across markets
  • develop hybrid learning experiences (digital, in-person, and blended)
  • collaborate with commercial teams to identify needs and assess effectiveness
  • ensure that the content is consistent, accessible, and brand-aligned
  • partner with markets to assess training needs, track adoption and measure effectiveness through KPIs and insights.

You can expect frequent international travels.

An experienced creator of global training programs, who is ready to lead
With your mix of a strategic mindset and the ability to execute hands-on, you have a proven track record of building scalable global training programmes. Especially within a global and complex organisation, where you need to navigate different seniority levels.

We also imagine that you:

  • have minimum a bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • have several years of experience in training or learning & development - ideally within retail, FMCG, or other consumer-facing environments
  • are familiar with digital learning tools, LMS platforms, and analytics-driven evaluation methods
  • understand both retail and wholesale dynamics.
