E-Commerce Operations Officer

The E-Commerce Operations Officer is responsible for managing all online 3rd party marketplace operations (Shopee, JD.com, and Lazada) and digital sales platforms (LINE and Whatsapp store) in Thailand

Key duties:

Planning

 

  • Conduct discussion with other potential online 3rd party marketplaces and digital sales platforms to gather information in order to assess potential of platform

  • Prepare business case, including sales forecast

  • Assist in negotiations with marketplace and platform providers

  • Understand in detail operations of all 3rd party marketplace platforms and digital sales platforms to be used (e.g. logistics, payments collection) and communicate it to internal stakeholders (finance, merchandising, logistics/operations, marketing)

  • Be the liaison and point of contact from ECCO with 3rd party marketplaces and digital sales platforms

  • Set up the IT Retail System

  • Work with merchandiser on assortment

  • Upload product details on online marketplaces and digital platforms and ensure quality of product information and product images

 

Strategic Execution

  • Align promotion calendar with ECCO offline marketing channels

  • Manage promotion timeframe for each marketplace and platform

  • Work closely with Marketing team in order to drive traffic and to apply consumer psychology towards this activity

Day-to-Day Operations 

  • Check and manage inbound orders daily

  • Send orders and requirements to 3rd party logistics partner

  • Manage and answer to customer service enquiries and comments, and assist with solving customer issues

  • Manage after sales service process, including return, exchange, and refunds

  • Assist finance in liaising with online marketplaces and digital sales platforms for follow up on documentation and payment collection

  • Inventory control and stock take of assortment allocated to e-commerce

  • Take initiative to conduct activities to drive traffic

  • Manage and take ownership of upcoming digital sales platforms

Key requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, E-Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Marketing, or related field

  • 1-2 years experience in e-commerce. Importantly a strong interest in e-commerce and a willingness to be involved in operations work is required

  • Be able to travel domestically    

  • Fluent in Thai and English
