Director, Audience & Lifecycle Strategy

You turn insight into action – across the full customer lifecycle

From our office in Carlsberg City District, Copenhagen, you’ll take a leading role in Global Digital Commerce – ECCO’s central digital team driving e-commerce, CRM, digital marketing and loyalty across markets. The team is being rebuilt with around 20 new roles globally and works closely with regional teams to strengthen both the customer experience and ECCO’s digital business.

 

As Director of Digital Audience & Lifecycle Strategy, you'll own the global strategic framework for how ECCO acquires and grows high-value customers built on first party data foundations - through segmentation, paid media audience architecture, lifecycle journeys and loyalty design. You define the standards and ensure it is implemented consistently across markets - enabling regions to acquire high-value customers, improve retention and build long-term loyalty.

You get a broad strategic responsibility, where you:

  • Act as global lead on audience activation, working across Marketing, IT and Data & AI across Global and Regional teams, to turn insight into cross-channel execution
  • Define global segmentation logic (CLV, churn, consent) and manage the audience architecture.
  • Build playbooks for lifecycle journeys - from welcome flows to win-back.
  • Define the value proposition, tier structure and engagement mechanics of ECCO’s global loyalty program — balancing brand equity, customer experience and commercial impact. Supporting the regional teams in their local activation and execution of loyalty.
  • Set global audience and value-based bidding standards for paid media – enabling regions to optimise CAC and ROAS using predictive CLV and first-party data.
  • Lead incrementality testing and partner with Data & AI to measure CLV impact.
  • Help shape and mentor a growing global team of specialists across CRM, loyalty and audience strategy.

 

From insight to impact — you know the mechanics

To succeed in this role, you’ll need solid experience in data-driven marketing, audience segmentation and lifecycle strategy – ideally across multiple markets. You know how to turn consumer insight and predictive models into action, and you have a sharp eye for structure, standards and collaboration.


Furthermore, you’re the right fit if you:

  • Have at least 8 years of experience in CRM, performance or lifecycle marketing, ideally within a global retail or DTC environment.
  • Have worked hands-on with CLV segmentation, churn models and first-party audience activation.
  • Bring experience with loyalty programmes – and can think both strategically and operationally.
  • Are strong in stakeholder management and able to drive collaboration across teams and markets.
  • Understand the technical landscape (CDP, ESP, data models) – though coding skills are not required.
