Department Assistant - ECCO HQ, Tønder

Are you passionate about creating structure and supporting teams to thrive? Join us as a Department Assistant and play a key role in keeping our Global Category Management organisation running smoothly.

Be part of a dynamic and collaborative team
You will join our Product & Category Management organisation in Tønder, a team of 22 colleagues working across Women’s, Men’s, Kids, Value Line, Outdoor and Leather Goods.

We are in the midst of exciting strategic and process developments, so adaptability and collaboration are at the heart of what we do. Together, we deliver ECCO’s footwear and leather goods collections in line with our brand values and business goals, working closely with design, supply chain and sales regions worldwide.

Keep our operations organised and make everyday work run smoothly
As our Department Assistant, you will provide comprehensive administrative and operational support to ensure efficient day-to-day operations.

Your tasks will include:

  • Managing travel arrangements for leaders and team members.
  • Handling expense reporting and reimbursements in line with ECCO guidelines.
  • Processing invoices and managing purchase orders accurately and on time.
  • Coordinating office-related matters such as supplies and internal announcements.
  • Supporting planning and execution of meetings, workshops, and events.

You’ll be the go-to person for administrative topics across the department, ensuring everything runs seamlessly and keeping us organised and connected. At the same time, you’ll thrive in an engaging environment where you can help shape new processes and smarter ways of working.

You prioritise effectively and bring strong interpersonal skills to every interaction
We imagine you are organised and service-minded, with a proactive approach.

Additionally, we are looking for these qualifications:

  • Completed secondary education; vocational training in administration is an advantage.
  • 2–3 years of experience in an administrative or office support role.
  • Experience with travel booking, expense handling, and invoice processing.
  • Proficiency in MS Office; ERP experience (e.g. SAP) is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
