Do you want to help us define and drive our data compliance efforts? And would you like to make your mark on not only a new team within ECCO but also this brand-new role that you can truly make your own?
“At ECCO, we are setting out to streamline and improve our architecture and processes. In this role, you get to play a critical part in this journey and make a lasting impact on how we handle data compliance” explains Head of Enterprise Practice Simon Dittman.
Make your mark on data compliance
Joining our vibrant and social environment at our Copenhagen hub, you become part of our brand-new IT Enterprise Practice team. As one of the first to join this still-growing team, you will help define architecture and processes and set a clear direction for global data compliance.
This role will combine strategic planning with hands-on execution. Your initial focus will be to define foundational elements, such as conducting stakeholder analysis, agreeing/formalising definitions, roles, and responsibilities, and aligning/prioritising future deliverables.
You will also contribute to our enterprise architecture development, ensuring coherency between IT, Line of Business (LoB), and regulatory requirements.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Define and maintain high-level data architecture structure in ECCO.
- Support the establishment and implementation of a Data Compliance Program in accordance with the agreed data compliance activities and roadmaps.
- Oversee, prioritise, and execute operational and project tasks related to the domain.
- Develop and maintain the Data Compliance function, including a domain roadmap.
- Create and execute processes to support the domain.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
You know your way around enterprise architecture
We are open to various backgrounds, but you should have high-level data architecture experience and some experience with enterprise architecture. Also, you should wish to further develop hands-on expertise within enterprise architecture and data architecture.
Moreover, as you will need to ensure collaboration between LoB and IT, it is also important that you are equipped with solid stakeholder management skills. You should also have:
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements (GDPR, NIS2, EU AI Act, etc.)
- Knowledge of relevant standards/frameworks (TOGAF, ISO 27001/NIST, etc.)
- Experience with the strategic-, tactical- and operational parts of IT
- Great coordination and planning skills
- Great communication skills in English
Experience working with an enterprise architecture platform would be a benefit (we are using Ardoq, but it could also be such as LeanIX Qualiware, Bizzdesign, etc.) but this is not a requirement.
Contribute to a New Team’s Success
Joining this newly established team, you will have the opportunity to help set the direction, defining the domain, just as you’ll contribute to shaping our culture.
“We have a sociable culture within the Digital hub. And within the team, a lot will happen within the next few months, and I look forward to us building the team together” Simon concludes.
Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
