Business Intelligence Analyst

Business Intelligence Analyst – create the foundation for smarter planning

Do you want to turn product and collection data into insights that guide future planning? And are you eager to work with BI tools, such as SQL, Python, and Power BI to improve our analytical environment?
At ECCO, you’ll have real influence on how a global company of 21,000 employees plans its collections. You’ll work at the intersection of analytics and business, turning insights into action.

Build insights that shape ECCO’s future collections.
You’ll be based in Tønder, Denmark, and join the Collection & Analytics team – ECCO’s global function supporting product and collection planning. The team collaborates closely with HQ and regional functions, ensuring that insights and data-driven tools guide future decisions and strengthen business outcomes.

In this role, you’ll be part of a specialist team that works at the intersection of data, product, and collection planning. You’ll collaborate with category management, regional stakeholders, and the Data & AI team – giving you the insight and partnership needed to transform data into real business impact.

Your mission is to build and improve the analytical foundations that drive ECCO’s collection strategies. From combining and verifying data sources, to developing dashboards and delivering insights, you’ll ensure that decisions on products and collections are grounded in accurate, timely, and actionable data.

You’ll get a strategic and cross-functional role, where you:

  • build and maintain data structures that support category management and collection planning
  • develop and automate Power BI dashboards to track product performance across categoriescombine data sources to deliver accurate insights for decision-making
  • drive a data-driven approach by connecting analytics directly to planning processes
  • collaborate across HQ and regional teams to strengthen global outcomes

You’re not just crunching numbers …
… because you care about clarity, accuracy and impact. You thrive in complexity and know how to structure data so it drives smarter decisions. You’ve worked with different data sources and tools, and you understand how to translate analysis into actionable insights.

You’re comfortable working across teams and time zones, and you back your recommendations with solid evidence. You’re hands-on, but you also know when to zoom out and connect analytics to the bigger business picture.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • hold a bachelor’s or higher in economics, business administration, social sciences or similar
  • bring at least 2 years of relevant experience
  • have strong skills within BI tools, such as SQL, Python, R, Snowflake and Power BI
  • are fluent in English, both spoken and written

Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
For additional information, you can reach out to Carsten Gude Bjørnskov, Collection & Analytics Dir., Grp. Dir., on +45 31 42 35 40.
