Can you understand supply chain processes and translate them into digital solutions? And are you looking for an opportunity to put your data analysis skills to the test?
Then grab this career building opportunity to join our Global Sales and Operations Planning department. Here, you get to make your mark on how we operate in the future by shaping and transforming our processes, using digitalisation as a tool for optimisation.
“Not only will you contribute to spreading a digital mindset throughout our organisation. But you’ll also have a lot of freedom to operate, deciding which projects you want to focus on in order to create the biggest impact” explains Global Sales & Operations Manager Jacob Witte Iwersen.
Translate processes into digital solutions
At our HQ in Denmark, you will be joining an international team of 28 colleagues in our Global S&OP department. Together, we cover a wide range of sales and operations planning tasks, including supply planning and global market fulfilment.
In ECCO, we own our supply chain in its entirety – and to support and optimise the many processes this entails, we are working to embed fully digitalised platforms. You will be joining us to help this endeavour, becoming the fresh set of eyes that comes up with new ideas, linking our processes and systems with true digital solutions for the future.
Your initial focus will be to gain an understanding of our processes and how they align with our systems, before coming up with ways to optimise them. Doing so, you will be translating complex processes into simple and understandable reporting, supporting our agile decision-making.
Moreover, you will have a lot of freedom to initiate and prioritise projects. Therefore, you can look forward to taking an active hand in projects focused on:
- Creating end-to-end KPI reporting
- Creating transparency within our freight management system using digital solutions
- Supporting day-to-day operations with tools allowing for fast decision-making
- Streamlining value chain data through our Common Data Platform (CDP)
- Various value chain process optimisations and automations
You excel at process optimisation and enjoy taking the lead on digital initiatives
The ability to understand processes is key to this role, as is your ability to see how these can be optimised, automated and digitalised. You do not need to be an IT whiz, but you do need to have a flair for digital initiatives.
Change management and actual implementation are also not foreign words to you, as you will need to know how to get people on board with new processes and trained in new ways of using them. Likewise, you will need to be able to communicate with colleagues at all levels and to not be afraid to reach out when you need to involve others in your projects.
Moreover, we imagine that you:
- Have experience with Power BI and data storytelling
- Have experience with or an interest in process automation and optimisation
- Are skilled at Excel, and it is a plus if you know your way around SAP
- Are interested in or willing to learn basic SQL and/or Python
- Speak and write English at business level
Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
