Are you looking for the perfect place to take your planning talent to the next level? At ECCO, we give you the space and the tools to learn. If you have the drive to improve, you’re the one, we’re looking for. If you’re ready to realize your planning potential, keep reading!
As demand/supply planner, your new working day is within Global Sales and Operations Planning, part of ECCO’s Group Value Chain. We’re a truly international department based in Bredebro, Denmark, with colleagues from Germany, Poland, India, Malaysia, and of course Denmark.
Your principal task is planning our supply chain. Through your foresight and expertise, we ensure that products reach the demand-side in a timely fashion. And after your plan has gone live, you will act as our go-to support with regards to it.
Besides drawing up the plans, you will therefore:
- Follow up on distribution, reporting and evaluating for future reference
- Support the demand-side and take charge of fixing possible delivery issues
- Redistribute products from stock to fill potential gaps
QUALIFICATIONS AND WORK EXPERIENCE
Experience from a previous position is a plus, but we’re looking for the right personality, not just the right professional background. If you have the drive to learn and succeed, we’ll teach you what you need to be brilliant.
It’s certainly an advantage if you have:
- Experience with SAP or other ERP software
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Experience with logistics or supply chain management, either from your education or from previous employment
- Additionally, English language proficiency is a requirement as you will be corresponding with international colleagues and distributors.
At ECCO, we don’t expect you know everything from day 1. What we’re looking for is the desire to grow into the position, so that eventually, you will be an expert:
“It takes at least a season, so probably 6-9 months, to understand all the intricacies of this position. Don’t let that scare you - I’m not hiring someone expecting them to operate perfectly within 2 weeks” explains Jacob Witte Iwersen, Head of Global S&OP.
Don’t worry, you will have colleagues with between 3 and 10 years of experience, all ready to impart their knowledge.
When you’re ready to take the next step, ECCO offers a Supply Chain Excellence programme free of charge. With 30 to 60 minutes of online courses a week, you will receive an accreditation for your supply chain expertise within 1 to 1,5 years.
READY FOR YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
