Project Manager

How do we get consumers to walk their next mile with us? Join us and be part of delivering our vision of design innovation and consumer experience excellence by bringing together diverse areas of expertise from our global organisation.

ECCO owns the entire value chain, presenting unique planning opportunities in relation to your projects. You’ll really get to increase collaboration and create successes across departments” says Elisabeth Hejlskov Alstrup, Project Excellence Team Lead.

Game-changing strategic projects and tactical commercial activities
Joining Project Management Excellence, you will be part of a team of international colleagues. Together, we drive go-to-market plans and internal processes focusing on a direct-to-consumer journey. We strive to create design innovation based on a data-driven approach and an enhanced consumer experience by bringing together talents from across the ECCO departments.

Being a part of the Project Management Excellence team, you will experience close collaboration and an open approach to learning – both from successes, and when there is room for improvement.

As a project manager, you will be based in the South of Denmark (Tønder) and run innovation projects and go-to-market plans. Essentially, you will help lead and execute the digital transformation for ECCO. You will do so by conducting preliminary research, developing project-scopes, handling digital management of briefs and projects as well as creating a transparent overview of workflows, including projects for all our markets. This involves:

  • Following up with stakeholders to ensure decision-making in due time
  • Developing detailed project plans to track progress and visualise project status
  • Supporting the implementation of new tools that capture the complexity of various marketing-based projects
  • Providing feedback on process inefficiencies and propose business cases and solutions for process optimisation
  • Supporting the tracking and reporting of marketing efficiencies, CLV, ROI and margins, allowing us to base our decisions on data and research

Project manager with international retail experience
Professionally, you are a generalist who views project management from a holistic perspective and bring together people across professions and countries. Also, you understand the power and opportunity of digital transformation and the types of projects that support it, maintaining a calm and collected mindset even in complex settings. Moreover, we imagine that you:

  • Hold a BA as a minimum combined with at least a few years of project management experience working for an international manufacturer/retailer or global consultant agency
  • Have industry qualification in recognised project management methods and processes
  • Can demonstrate experience with alignment of multiple resources and skills across a medium to large-sized organisation
  • Has experience with different project management methodologies, notably both Agile and Waterfall across many different types of programmes and projects
  • Are fluent in English

Plenty of opportunity to develop yourself – and ECCO
Joining our ranks, you can look forward to becoming part of a multicultural workplace where collaboration is front and centre.

Your job may at times be high-paced working across departments, but we will ensure room to deep-dive into the knowledge pool as well. That way, you can build on your skills – all while being able to contribute new approaches to how we work.

Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.

For additional information, you can reach out to Elisabeth Hejlskov Alstrup, Project Excellence Team Lead on +45 2531 9598.
