PLM Supporter

Can you play an integral part in guiding us through our digital transformation journey, taking ownership of our new software and ensuring we become more data-driven, while also instructing and assisting your colleagues?

Then in return we offer you amazing colleagues, high levels of freedom and flexibility, and the resources you need to grow your skillset, all set within a modern, multinational company.

Sound interesting? Then read on.

Guiding your colleagues
From our global headquarters in Bredebro, Denmark, you will join our PLM team, a part of Product & Supply Chain in Global IT. We are an international team with people in different locations worldwide.

We are currently on a digital transformation journey, adopting a brand new PLM system. As the owner of said software, you will work closely with relevant business stakeholders, acting as first point of contact between internal stakeholders and our software vendors. As such, you will have an advisory role, building best practices and instructing your business colleagues in its use.

In this role, you can expect to be:

  • Providing IT support to the user community while raising user competency through dialogue, training in PLM processes, instructional material and the like
  • Bringing knowledge of our end users’ experience to PLM-related projects
  • Interacting with and assisting internal stakeholders like PLM consultants, designers, developers and the end users, and external stakeholders such as our software vendors

You should expect around 10 days travel annually to locations like Portugal, Holland, and Indonesia, as you workshop with your colleagues in PLM or collaborate with our developers at our international sites.

Skilled with people as well as with IT
You are an excellent communicator, so teamworking and building professional relations comes naturally to you. You don’t just sit around and wait for tasks to land on your desk, but instead actively pursue the next thing when you finish a task.

Aside from the personal attributes, we would also like to see:

  • Experience from a similar position in PLM or PDM, preferably from a large, multinational company
  • Good IT skills, preferably with experience using PLM suites such as CENTRIC, Aras Innovator, Windchill, Siemens etc., or other data management software like SAP, Oracle, Dynamics etc.
  • Some knowledge of one of the following: JavaScript, C#, SQL, .NET, HTML5 or XML (this would be an advantage, but not a requirement)
  • Professional proficiency in both written and spoken English (Danish language proficiency is a plus, but not essential)

Mutually beneficial arrangement
As a PLM supporter, you will be an integral part of our journey to become more data-driven, working to ensure that our data is accurate, and that your colleagues are always instructed in best practices when handling our new software.

As you help us, we want to return the favour. You will have a solid onboarding, with your more experienced colleagues training you in our systems. ECCO also wants to help our people grow, so in collaboration with the team manager, you will have a lot of influence on your development through training, courses, new challenges and more.

Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.

For additional information, you can reach out to Thomas Andersen, Team Manager PLM on +45 2164 8264.
