Junior Category Manager

Are you commercially savvy? And would you like to use your sense of logic to coordinate and carry out a wide range of commercial activities in an international organization with great family values?
    Step into our shoes and take on a vital supporting role in our Category Management department where you get to dive into exciting tasks and work cross-functionally across the ECCOGroup.
    Job Profile:
    In Category Management, we are 20 colleagues who act as the link between our markets and our product design. Focused on providing the best possible product management, we translate input on market needs from our Sales organizations into recommendations for the creative designers and Marketing on how to market collections.
      As the latest addition to our department, you will become part of our POC team, which oversees the global premium outlet collection. Managing and coordinating tasks that vary depending on season, you will step into a steady but at the same time dynamic workday where you support the rest of the team by carrying out analyses, working with pricing strategies and performing hands-on practical tasks. Doing so, you will:
      • Prepare reports and PowerPoint presentations, collect material for conferences, set up presentation rooms, prepare meetings, etc.
      • Support the collection development process in terms of segments, pricing, costs, delivery windows, etc.
      • Collect and analyse data for commercial insights
      • Collaborate with stakeholders throughout the ECCO Group, such as Marketing, Sales, Legal, Logistics, Warehouse, etc., to provide and collect input
      Qualifications and Work Experience:
      With a highly organised mindset and keen business understanding, you know how to independently prioritize your tasks and determine what is needed, when and why.
        Understanding that the key to success is a team effort, you thrive in a supporting role. You enjoy networking cross-functionally, and you have a positive demeanour and a proactive approach to finding solutions. Lastly, you have an international mindset.
          Furthermore, we imagine that you:
          • Have recently graduated, having completed BA in business or similar
          • Have a few years of work experience within sales or from a similar commercial back office
          • Have an international business/commercial profile
          • Have strong communication skills and speak and write English effortlessly
