IT Contract and Vendor Manager

Can you see yourself in a newly established role, where you will have a massive impact on how we handle contract management? And do you enjoy a central position in the intersection between IT, customers and our core business?

The increase of digitalisation entails greater demands for agile and flexible IT systems – again increasing the importance of contracts, which is where you come in” says Head of CIO Office, Marco Baasch.

Take ownership of our contract management
Based out of our HQ in Bredebro, you will be joining our Global IT department and specifically our CIO Office team. We are a fairly new team with 7 team members acting as the link between IT and business – more specifically, we support our IT division by managing our suppliers, governance, contracts, licenses, etc.

As our new IT contract and vendor manager, you will be stepping into a new role, giving you ample opportunity to contribute to shaping your tasks and workday. In a close cooperation with our IT sourcing specialist, you will be responsible for all contract-related issues with our suppliers.

Specifically, you will be:

  • Handling the conclusion and negotiation of contracts regarding software, hardware, projects, services and consultants
  • Negotiating existing contracts
  • Responsible for registering and maintaining contracts in contract inventory
  • Following up on compliance with agreements in contracts as well as on supplier performance and costs
  • Handling vendor management and governance

Reading, understanding and communicating contracts sounds like a simple task to some – but as you know, this is fairly complicated, which is why we need your expertise to ensure that all is optimised and updated” Marco continues.

You can adapt to situations and are great at stakeholder management
With your great people skills and professional diplomacy, you will fast become our suppliers’ best friend in ECCO – both as a negotiator and as a problem-solver. Also, you have a keen eye for details, ensuring that all aspects of the contracts are in order. Needless to say, you are great at building and maintaining strong relationships.

Furthermore, we imagine that you:

  • Have a relevant legal and/or financial background - e.g. cand.merc.jur. or cand.jur.
  • Have relevant experience managing contracts – you might have 3 or 10 years of experience, but the important thing is that you fit well into our team
  • Might have experience from (or at least an interest in) the IT industry
  • Are curious and have an easy time getting acquainted with new material
  • Master Danish and English in writing and speaking at negotiation level

Gain a central role in a central team
Your new job is in a friendly, professional team, where we value development and commitment – and also having fun along the way. Working in a newly established area, you will furthermore have the opportunity to greatly impact both how we do things as well as our culture.

Also, you can look forward to a role that is a binding link at the core of our business, enabling you to quickly gain a great network internally and externally.

Did we catch your attention?
For more information on this position, please contact Head of CIO Office, Marco Baasch on +45 26 29 22 75.
