Global Product Line Manager

Want to help develop our shoe collections, work with great colleagues and take ownership of an important product range within ECCO?

Then grab this chance to impact the final look and feel of a global footwear range, and join a growing team in a vibrant environment that offers you a lot of flexibility and opportunity.

You’ll be in charge of the franchises within the Dress Casual category, strategically planning how to grow these. So, this is a great opportunity for you to deliver on this area’s potential” explains Marius Korthout, category director, Dress Casual.

Develop and maintain a relevant collection
Joining the ECCO Dress Casual business unit (BU), you will become part of our Product & Business Team which is responsible for the BU’s product range. The highly social team consists of 5 colleagues, who work closely together to develop and maintain a consumer- and brand-relevant collection.

As our global product line manager, you will be stepping into an important role within the team – taking responsibility for building a product range and collection that meets all market needs. Doing so, you will be driving your own products from idea to launch.

More specifically, you can look forward to:

  • Executing collection launces
  • Analysing order intake and sell-out reporting for BU products
  • Working with product development, go-to-market and global merchandising to ensure proper range development
  • Occasionally presenting collections to key stakeholders

Lastly, an important part of your role will be to inspire and coach the ECCO organisation on how to manage collections based on consumer needs and demands.

Experience from a similar position – you speak the language of shoes
You are a structured coordinator with an analytical and strategic mindset, enabling you to take responsibility for the collection and its development.

Moreover, you are a strong networker who excel at stakeholder management. This is essential as you will be collaborating not only with our markets but also colleagues from across the ECCO organisation.

In addition, we imagine that you:

  • Are commercially savvy
  • Have 5+ years of experience, ideally within footwear, fashion, clothing or merchandising
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a business-related area
  • Bring strong communication and presentation skills
  • Speak and write English effortlessly

Join our extended family
As you will be operating at a global level, this position offers you international exposure and the opportunity to become part of a great global network.

Moreover, you can look forward to becoming a part of a laid-back and fun-loving team of colleagues who truly enjoy each other’s company. A flexible work environment and a healthy work-life balance are important to us, so you will have a lot of freedom to plan your time.

The way I see it, we’re not only co-workers, we’re friends. So, to me it’s a very wholesome setting you’ll be joining” concludes Dan Frisk Petersen, business and product line manager.
