Are you the kind of person who cannot wait to get your hands on new technology? And would you like to assist colleagues from all over the world?
Then join us in this global and very varied role where your work will span many responsibilities – from solving a simple network issue in a retail store to working on a complex set-up in one of our factories.
“You’ll be part of an international team where we really look after each other. I’m proud of how we work together to achieve our goals as a team – even across borders” says Paul Day, Corporate Infrastructure Team Manager.
Manage and maintain the ECCO network
First off, we would like to welcome you into our global corporate infrastructure team. We are 6 colleagues based in Indonesia and Denmark, working closely together on the global network infrastructure in ECCO.
Your role will revolve around the daily management and maintenance of the existing ECCO network, which covers a corporate network, a manufacturing network and retail network. Your work will consist of day-to-day ticket-based tasks and project-based activities as you install new or refresh existing technology, e.g., new routers, switches and firewalls. The SD WAN consists of Cisco Meraki and Cato Network solutions.
The purpose of the team is to ensure that our corporate network infrastructure is running efficiently and optimized, providing fast and reliable connectivity to meet the day-to-day needs of the global business. You will contribute to the team effort in more of these areas:
- Tending to situations via incoming tickets while staying in close contact with stakeholders
- Monitoring and troubleshooting various components of the network such as SD-WAN, Global LAN Installations and Wi-Fi infrastructure
- Ensuring that the ECCO firewalls and VPN components are running efficiently to safeguard system availability and reliability
- Fulfilling ECCO security polices and standards
- Modernising legacy equipment and architecting future designs and specifications to facilitate business needs
Ready to learn about the latest technologies?
As a person, you must be a good communicator to get to the bottom of network situations and keep stakeholders, end users and colleagues updated in all ongoing activities. This also entails communicating technical information to coworkers in other departments who may not have knowledge of networking technical terminology.
Also, ECCO is not afraid to try new technologies, so you should be open to change, new requirements and learning as part of the job. Finally, we imagine that you:
- Have a few years of experience from a similar role working with enterprise network environments covering LAN WAN and Wifi deployments
- Have a good overview of general IT technologies, e.g., active directory and Windows Servers
- May have experience with Cisco Classic and Cisco Meraki solutions
- Are familiar with firewalls and network security
- Are fluent in English
- Are able to travel 10-20 days per year
You cannot help but grow
Joining ECCO, you will be part of an organisation where we know that digitisation and automation is the future of everything we do. That means looking into the latest technology and being ready to change and grow. With that comes constant learning.
Also, you will join a team where we want to make time for you to grow your skill set, and where personal growth will be a key milestone.
Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.
