Category Coordinator

Ready to leverage your many years of experience and be a highly valued and trusted coordinator to your colleagues?

Then become part of a multicultural, growing team in a vibrant environment that offers you a lot of flexibility and opportunity.

You’ll truly get to utilise your project and process management skills as you operate between two categories. We rely on you, your overview and your solution-oriented mindset” explains Marius Korthout, Category Director, Dress Casual.

You coordinate all day-to-day events and tasks
You will join the ECCO Dress Casual as well as Lifestyle categories in Tønder with 30 people in total. Here, you will be accountable for all matters related to daily operations and will work at the intersection of product and business development as well as product-to-market.

As our category coordinator, you will be stepping into an important role within the categories, as your efforts will make sure that your colleagues can focus solely on the creation of our commercial collection and the GTM strategy.

Doing so, you will:

  • Coordinate meetings, events and happenings – locally and together with your colleagues
  • Arrange travels, accommodations and manage travel expenses
  • Organise special events in the department, for example a presentation and launch of new collections or a strategic meeting with external stakeholders
  • Be the go-to person in terms of department issues or challenges
  • Handle all shipment of samples, shoe trials and sales-related shoes

Lastly, you will also arrange teambuilding events for your colleagues in the categories twice a year. This could be several things – limited only by your imagination of fun things to do.

A proactive and approachable coordinator with experience
You are a structured coordinator with an analytical and strategic mindset, enabling you to take responsibility for the tasks and objectives within your area of expertise.

Moreover, you are a strong networker who excels at stakeholder management. This is essential, as you will be collaborating with both categories but also colleagues from across the entire ECCO organisation.

In addition, we imagine that you:

  • Have 5+ years of experience from a similar position
  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in a business-related area or another relevant field
  • Bring strong communication and presentation skills
  • Speak and write Danish and English fluently

Join our extended family
As you will be operating at a global level, this position offers you international exposure and the opportunity to become part of a great global network.

Moreover, you can look forward to becoming a part of a laid-back and fun-loving team of colleagues who truly enjoy each other’s company.

A flexible work environment and a healthy work-life balance are important to us, so you will have a lot of freedom to plan your time. And though we do spend the majority of our time together at the office, you can work from home on occasion.

Are you ready for your next challenge?
We will invite candidates for interviews on an ongoing basis, so do not hesitate to apply.

For additional information, you can reach out to Marius Korthout, Category Director, Dress Casual on +45 7491 1667.
