Make our global distribution network ready for the future
At our headquarters in Bredebro, you will join Group Value Chain and become part of our Business Development team together with our Manager Jimmy. You will join us at an exciting time in which we are about to expand our team – and strengthen our global distribution network (GDN).
Working with GDN, you will participate in projects in different regions from the US to Asia – projects that evolve around warehouse infrastructure, automation, outsourcing and WMS implementations. You will make sure that everyone from warehouse managers to IT specialists work in the same direction – and that our GDN is able to handle wholesale, retail and e-com in an omnichannel perspective.
“One of your first projects will be to drive implementations of our new standard WMS solution Manhattan Scale – we are already done in Poland, and the next steps will be Slovakia and Asia. From there, we will gradually increase your area of responsibility” explains Jimmy.
Specifically, you will:
- Define and plan projects, ensuring the right staffing and following up on project activities
- Coordinate solution design, testing and implementation of IT solutions within GDN in close collaboration with our IT department
- Become business owner of our global WMS solution (Manhattan Scale)
- Conduct strategic, tactical and operational analysis and crunch numbers in Excel
- Prepare steering group meetings where you will also present on project status
- Plan and perform change management activities
As this is a truly global role, you will visit our logistic sites all over the world to facilitate workshops and make sure that the implemented solutions work as they should. This will take you travelling around 50 days a year.
You have experience with logistics and project steering
Brimming with passion for change and a desire for optimising supply chain and logistics activities, you are able to solve any problems or concerns that may arise along the way. You like to work in a fast-paced environment where you can make sure all the loose ends come together.
- Bring some years of experience within supply chain/logistics and project-related activities
- Have a general flair for IT
- Are familiar with SAP and WMS
- Speak and write English effortlessly
