Automation Engineer

 

What we are looking for

Our Maintenance team is looking for a motivated and solution-oriented Automation Engineer to support the development and continuous improvement of our production and robotics systems. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing automation software, ensuring the reliability and performance of our manufacturing equipment while contributing to innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new PLC and HMI software to control and operate production machinery and automation systems.
  • Maintain, improve, and optimize existing software to enhance machine performance, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot software and hardware issues affecting production equipment and robotics systems.
  • Research and evaluate new automation technologies, software solutions, and control techniques to support continuous improvement.
  • Support the implementation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment and software updates.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure automation solutions meet production, quality, and safety requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to automation software and control systems.

 

Requirements
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with a proactive mindset and a passion for automation and industrial technology. We are looking for someone who can say "yes" to most of the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Computer Engineering, or a related field; or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Automation.
  • Min. 2 years of experience in PLC programming in industrial environment.
  • English knowledge, both written and verbal.
