ECCO NextGen - Leather Production, Europe & Asia

Do you want to gain in-depth knowledge of producing leather? Want to continue learning, and develop personally and professionally? How about building an international network? And experiencing the ECCO world across multiple locations globally?
      ECCO is looking for an ambitious international NextGen (trainee) for a career track in Leather Production, a unique opportunity to kickstart their career in our global company. ECCO Leather is proud to carry out a traditional craft using modern techniques in its state-of-the-art facilities in the Netherlands, China, Thailand and Indonesia. The ECCO Leather Head Office is based in the Netherlands. As a NextGen on this production track you will support the development of production processes whilst gaining hands-on experience. As an ECCO NextGen you will be given the opportunity to prove your natural leadership skills both during and beyond the programme.
      Job Profile:
      • Hands-on learning of ECCO Leather production processes
      • Contribute to ECCO manufacturing processes and process improvement
      • Analyse existing production methodologies and propose ways to make it more efficient
      • Expand knowledge within production teams, technical areas and physical operations
      Qualifications and Work Experience:
      If you are our future ECCO NextGen, you
      • Have a minimum education level of Bachelor degree in Engineering or Manufacturing technology/management. Focus on leather production as part of your education is a distinct advantage
      • Have technical and analytical focus with good problem-solving skills
      • Are ambitious and hard-working, with an eye for detail
      • Thrive on challenges. You enjoy working in a regularly changing environment in an autonomous role
      • Are quality-oriented and results driven
      • Are able to meet deadlines
      • Possess a global mind-set and are open to work with colleagues from different cultural backgrounds
      • Are globally mobile not only during the programme, but also after as you will be travelling between the Netherlands and the Asian production units
      • Have excellent command of oral and written English. Knowledge of additional languages is a distinct advantage
