The focus of this role is to elevate the brand voice at point of sale and enhance the shopping experience to drive traffic and positively impact business growth, whilst working in close cooperation with the Regional Marketing Manager, marketing representatives, Sales team and retail representatives.
The Retail VM trainer is responsible for training ECCO Stores, ECCO Shop in shop and wholesale accounts in the Benelux with a strong focus on the Netherlands. Training will focus on our seasonal collection, Brand and heritage. Next to that, you will support our selling points with overall trainings.
Responsible for a strong presentation of the ECCO brand in both ECCO stores and shop-in-shops according to the regional and corporate Visual Merchandising strategy. Next to that, you will support our multibrand stores to get a basic understanding of the ECCO brand, heritage and products. The focus is to train, coordinate and instruct store staff regarding displaying the product and point of sales materials. It would be your role to translate our consumer segmentation towards our selling points.
Aim is to be an ECCO Brand Ambassador, to drive retail profitability and to increase the level of knowledge about ECCO Products and brand in the stores.
Responsible to train retail staff, store managers and back-office to ensure the employees are highly educated.
You will regular visit the ECCO stores for generic store support with window set up, POS set up, merchandising. You will support the store in all means to gain their turnover targets.
The Retail VM Trainer should be a good entrepreneur willing to work hard and independently to get a strong Retail chain developed. We expect the trainer to be a great motivator towards the retail staff.
-Proven track record in retail of around 3-5 years’ experience in training store staff and people management
-Proven track record when it comes to developing training strategies and aligning objectives to business goals
-Experience with staff development / strong coaching skills
-Developing in store consumer experience and selling programmes
-Experience with communication platforms and structures for delivering training
-Experience working with a variety of stakeholders (internal & external, including franchisees and wholesale partners)
-A keen interest in the product range, good service mind-set, action-oriented and with a drive for results
-Good sense of initiative, self-motivated & analytical
-Ability to work under pressure
-Demonstrable experience in retail management, including experience in coaching and developing people
-Increasing sales and brand awareness by conducting great training sessions
-Strong presentation skills with small to large groups
-Exceptional skills in customer service, time management, self-confidence, flexibility, analysis, accountability, practicality, presentation, and communication
