Area Sales Manager

The Area Sales Manager will be reporting to National Sales Manager and supporting the wholesale business management in relevant region nationwide. They will help dealers to drive their sales performance and strive to keep ECCO brand awareness and market position in their region.

Sales

  • Drive the sales performance of the territory to exceed the allocated budget;
  • Sell seasonal indent ranges within the parameters of the DW program into territory account base;
  • Work together with individual accounts to improve sales results and strengthen their relationship with ESH;
  • Install ECCO culture into all accounts.

Account Management and Development

  • Develop a strong, forward thinking partnership between accounts and ESH;
  • Build individual account contribution through expansion of range and depth of stock;
  • Provide accounts with a superior level of customer service, communication and after sales support;
  • Recognize and respect the individual requirements of all accounts.

Territory Management and Development

  • Expand distribution within the territory through exploring new and unique opportunities;
  • Show sensitivity to existing account location in relation to potential new account positioning.

ECCO Partnership Stores

  • Continually identify opportunities to develop ECCO Retail Partnership program within the territory;
  • If required, assist in all aspects of planning, development and setting up ECCO Partnership Stores.

National Accounts

  • Merchandise floor on regular basis to ensure premium department positioning and exposure;
  • Liaise with floor managers to obtain sales feedback and address any concerns.

Staff Training

  • Introduce ECCO culture and required level of product knowledge by conducting comprehensive ECCO clinics with management and staff of all new accounts;
  • Continue to conduct ECCO clinics in established accounts on a regular basis to further develop product knowledge standards and improve sales techniques;
  • Customize the timing and duration of clinics to the requirements of individual accounts.

Visual Merchandising

  • Maintain a superior standard of visual presentation and merchandising of the brand;
  • Develop and implement window displays following seasonal guidelines as directed by ECCO;
  • Optimize brand positioning and visual awareness.

Travel

  • Prepare and submit Travel Plan before departing for business related travel;
  • Maximize productivity and timing of business related travel.

Expense Management

  • Maintain expenditure within allocated budget for all travel, communication and all business related expenses.

Winfoot System

  • Follow parameters as set by ECCO / ESH in relation to order placement, maintenance and Winfoot operation (to be introduced).

Reporting

  • Prepare and present annual Territory Business Plan;
  • Prepare and present seasonal sales analysis report at the completion of each indent period;
  • Monitor and report weekly on relevant territory activity;
  • Prepare and submit monthly business related Expense Reimbursement Report;
  • Report on the completion of designated special projects.
